Red Cloud Indian School

Today I'll finish Authorial April, plugging my new book Yellow More: A Rephotography Classic Revisited. The suggested donation for the electronic edition of this book is $50 to Red Cloud Indian School (Mahpiya Luta), in Pine Ridge, South Dakota.

Red Cloud definitely does not endorse (or probably know about) this book.

In my half century of being in and around South Dakota, watching and looking and asking, Red Cloud is the best avenue for Lakota advancement that I have seen. It's almost the only. Its community has extreme social problems, and it strikes me as a hopeful and practical way forward for many Native children. I hope you will look into it and support it as I have.
