In this historic political month let's do another bit of political history.

Francis Case, a Republican boasting of his progressivism and staunch conservatism in the same ad. A different time.

By the way that mechanical calculator (220 rpm!) reportedly sold for $750, or about $8,000 in today's dollars. I have fond memories of running up to ABC Business Supply for topo maps in the 1990s, something like $9. Same building as the Company of Fine Arts, one of the most underrated Deadwood stories. But that's for another time.
